How the center was established
The Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Mother and Child Health was established by Presidential Decree PQ-296 of 8 September 2023 and began operating on 1 October 2023.
It was formed on the basis of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Republican Reproductive Health Center and the Republican Mother and Child Screening Center.
Regional branches
The center has 14 regional branches. They provide medical examinations and treatment, molecular-genetic testing, supply specialized medicines and nutrition to children with hereditary conditions, and carry out family planning.
Fergana branch
The Fergana branch provides specialized mother and child health care to the region’s population. According to the Ministry of Health, it received an international quality standard certificate together with the Khorezm and Andijan branches.
